They give respect a bad name

There they go again, using songs without the permission of the artist. This time she messed with Bon Jovi, and it feels a little personal. He’s an open supporter of Barack Obama, and has even held a fundraiser at his home.  Coupled with last night’s debate performance by McCain, it’s pretty clear that these two act without thinking things through, shoot their mouths off and just don’t have anyone else’s interests in mind but their own.

    I also didn’t get permission to play from Bon Jovi when I played one of his songs will I was on the toilet last night.

    Hate to say it, but they bought the rights from Bon Jovi’s record company along with a whole bunch of other music the artists would otherwise wish they hadn’t. Good ol’ Jon Bon Jovi may not like it, but he’s kinda screwed. Screwed all the way to the bank.
