Must find a way!

As the gas prices continue to rise, I’m considering alternate modes of transporation. I’ve explored the possiblity of selling my car, or driving it only when absolutely necessary. But I can’t be left without a way to get from point A to point B, and relying on public transportation isn’t always an option.

The majority of my driving is the 3.2 mile round trip to work and home, so, I have my eye on a 150cc Lance Vintage 150 Gas Scooter Moped in white. How cute would I be running around town in that bad-boy? Just a couple months of saving, but I think that would be a pretty economical use of my money.

Oh, let’s hear it for 80 miles to the gallon!

How about a bicycle? Save money and get your exercise at the same time?

Yep, I’ve been thinking about bikes, too. I’m exploring all possibilities.

  3. I can totally see you rockin’ a scooter. For such a short commute, a bike is probably a better idea, but then you have to worry more about whether you’re dressed properly. Although I guess on that short of a ride you’re not going to work up much of a sweat.

I just think a scooter would be more fun.

Well, the work commute is only part of it. Quick runs to the store, going into downtown for this reason or that. I’m keeping a bike in mind, but I really like the idea of being able to haul stuff around on the back; work shoes (cuz I’ll probably wear sneakers on the ride), my purse, etc. We’ll see.

  5. I’ve been looking at scooters too.

I’m strongly considering the 150cc Lance Vintage as well, but I can’t seem to find any reviews on the company or the scooter.

Let me know how it works out for you, or if you have found any reviews.

I haven’t found any reviews myself, and because I actually have to now replace my car, I won’t be looking at buying a scooter in the near future.
