The Staff Meeting

This morning, we had a very important staff meeting at work. Taylor and I were diligent in our note taking. It’s so impressive, that I’ve decided to scan the sheets of paper we worked so hard on, and show them to everyone, so you can all see how hard we are working. We work especially hard during these very important and relevant* staffing meetings.

The first is a spectacular work-related drawing by Taylor. The second two are conversations we were having; It helps us sort out all of the details that are flying at us, stay organized, and stay on task.

*The terms “important” and “relevant” are used in a facetious manner. In fact, you really shouldn’t take anything I say seriously.

There was also a drawing I made of the light fixture in my bathroom, because this morning I discovered it has an outlet on the base of the light. It was an exciting moment, I can tell you that right now. I’ve lived here almost 16 months, and that’s the first time I’ve noticed an outlet in the bathroom. In fact, the previous belief of a lack of outlet was the topic of much lamenting. I’m over it now, so no need to be concerned. At any rate, I did not scan that last picture.

Oh, one last thing; I’m going to “play” some kickball tonight. It’s been roughly 11 years since I’ve been really athletic, so this should be interesting.

You have my condolences on the whole job thing. I knew it was bad, but those “notes” make it sound 500% worse (approx., of course).

Sweet merciful crap, it’s like the evolution of bored high school notes.

  3. As far as the kickball goes… despite 1 strike out and 2 kicks right into the shortstop and outfielder’s arms, not bad… not bad at all. I haven’t totally lost it, but I have a lot of room for improvement.

  4. Gotta love the work meetings.
