Minneapolis Pillow Fight

These are some pictures I took from the Pillow Fight.

With about 10 minutes before fight time, there were literally more cameras than pillows present. It remained that way right until just a few minutes before 2:00. That didn’t stop the first handful of people to begin. Slowly, more and more people showed up, and I would estimate it topped out at around 25, max. I think it was mostly to do with the poor weather.

Well, it didn’t take long before pillows broke open (some with the assistance of pocket knives), and there were feathers everywhere. It was actually very pretty.

When the feathers cleared, we noticed everyone on their hands and knees, apparently looking for a missing lens to a pair of glasses. That is exactly why I was a spectator only. Without my glasses, I can’t see anything, and I knew if I wore them, it would only end in disaster.

A good time was had by all. I think.
Taylor, Aaron, Dave, and I wandered over to the 331 afterwards for some beers, where we were approached by a few people wanting to know what the pillows were for. Since it was the pillow that Taylor uses to sleep on, he was careful not to destroy it. I also think that means he lost.
